We've all heard "flowery" descriptions of artists and the way the art is created. But Beata Murawska takes the lead. She is exclusively about flowers. In Warsaw, they call her the 'Tulip Lady.'
An extremely popular Warsaw artist with her work found in many public buildings, Murawska paints fields of tulips-standing still, up close, at a distance, blowing in the wind. Each work is as individual as the next. She is truly inspired by the endless variety, freshness and above all, the beauty of flowers. Her canvases are mostly large - the effect, terrific.
Murawska is from Warsaw. She graduated from the Academy of Art in Warsaw in 1988. Her exhibitions have taken her to Germany, France, Luxembourg and of course Poland.
